Hello and welcome!
My name is Slava, I come from a tiny French island in the Indian Ocean and I currently live in Porto, Portugal.
I have been working as a complementary therapist since 2018, although this was not my first career.
I actually started working as an intellectual property lawyer in the film industry in Paris, before life put on my path some profound experiences that got me on a quest for something "more essential".
Following the clues brought me to London where I reconnected with my love for art as well as a sense of spirituality that had moved to the background of my life in teenagehood. I became interested in the body and the way we can heal through it and studied shiatsu for 3 years. As I developed my practice, I became more and more curious about the subtle energetic interactions with clients and trained in reiki, before joining the Barbara Brennan School of Healing a couple of years later.
I am currently furthering my training, exploring altered states of consciousness through shamanism (naturally induced/ with no substance). I am particularly interested in their potential to heal and reprogram the unconscious as well as to expand on one's capacity for insight, wisdom and connection.
My approach & values
Throughout my work, I hold the belief that at your core, you already are who you need to be, and that your system possesses built-in healing abilities. In other words, I don't think that my clients need to be "fixed" nor saved.
I am here to help you reconnect to your resources, to your wisdom, power, love and vitality.
My commitment to you is to support you on your journey to the best of my abilities, from essence to essence, and heart to heart, honouring the uniqueness of your being and path.

Qualifications
BHS Graduate
BHS practitioners go through an intensive 4 year training that entails developing awareness of energy, various energy healing techniques, psycho-development, character structures and defenses, anatomy and physiology, process work (body-based psychology), etc.
Diploma of professional Shiatsu
I studied a Namikoshi-derived style of shiatsu for 3 years in London. This training involved shiatsu for relaxation, therapeutic shiatsu, Sotai Ho, basics of traditional Chinese medicine, anatomy & physiology (FHT level 3), pathology (FHT level 3), and a number of case studies.
